He stumbled near the bed and fell down.Seeing an old ragged box lying under it,lifts it up and opens it.
It revealed some of his childhood Christmas presents, handmade drawings and toys made by his mother when they couldn’t afford expensive toys.
He ran to the hall ,clutched the suv keys and headed to the parking lot of his apartment.
He drove it to the countryside and hurriedly rushed to a small Hut.
With smothering tears he clenched his fist, finally tried to gain strength to knock the rusty gate but it was already open yet vacant. He knelt down near the garden and cried endlessly.
Heartrending yet lovely, Shivashish. 🙂 — Suzanne
