How things are said definitely forms the bigger ideas and picture. Too often the answer to the category of ‘non-working, dependent’ is to have a government program in which stay at home parents are paid. We lose every time we monetize a ‘service’. What the ‘non-working, dependent’ does is more than a ‘service’ and it would be demeaned if it was monetized. Anything that’s monetized comes under an unwanted scrutiny, not to mention what inflation would do.
Random thoughts that in a round about way is my way of saying, what women contribute to society has never been properly appreciated.
