The last letter

Scrounging the dirt ,he twitched his fingers to the old stack of high school diaries.
He rubbed one of them with his coat and turned through the yellow pages with utmost glee.
His eyes sparkled brighter than any firefly.
He was passionately rubbing his wedding ring on the back cover and scanning through the pages as in search of something.
As soon as his pale looking finger overlapped a letter beginning with “I love” he was visibly stuck . He began scratching the dried chewing gum on the next word.
He was about to unveil the biggest mystery of his life. On removing the gum he read his name underneath, the book fell from his grip and tears started dripping his new coat wet. He stood up taking the support of the rusty wardrobe and flew away in his car, wildly decorated with flowers.
